Thought I had deleted the Facebook account months ago, but apparently it only deactivates - until you get shamed into starting it up again. That place is an addictive time-waster, but I have found some long lost friends, and that has been a nice surprise. I probably won't be putting much art on there, leaving that for the website and blog.
If you're on the Book, gimme a look!

I got talked into joining FB not long ago. I thought it was a waste of time too but managed to connect with family from out of town I rarely see and made a few new friends. I even sold a painting on there! I will confess...I'm hooked on Pathwords, tho.:(
Billie - I connected with some old friends, too. But geez with all the stuff on there it's easy to get carried away. I don't know what Pathwords is, assume it's a game. Ok I'm limiting you to 45 min./day on Facebook - that's equal to 3 hrs real time!
I too have a love/hate relationship with FB ! I always felt sorry for any one that HAD to spend their day at a computer, preferring to be working outside. I have found soooo many friends from college and all the places we've lived; it really has been wonderful. My hope is that when we are sitting in "the home" years from now, we can still stay connected with the world via FB or whatever....or at the very least entertain ourselves with Pathwords. :)
Hi Nick, I went to your FB page and sent you a message. It's funny how many of us feel the same, ambivalent way about FB.
I do enjoy looking at your work!
Haven't succumbed yet and hope not to. Don't have enough time as it is and while finding friends from the past can be fun - some I'd rather not find....heh heh
Janet - I have to admit, it's a great way to find and reconnect with people...unless you're in the Witness Proctection Program!
Peggy - I remember your great paintings from one of the forums, string instruments and watercolor are right up my alley :)
Nancy - well, ya gotta draw the line somewhere: I refuse to text or tweet!!
I hear you on the "waste of time" but it is nice connecting with long lost friends and even family. I'm going there now to befriend you. :)
Lori - missed this way back when, sorry. Salut!
