Congrats Nick!! You know I'm a big fan and so proud for you! Please tell Shirley Trevena that I begged my mom for her book until she relented and gave it to me! HA!

Cheryl - unfortunately I can't go, too much other stuff going on. :( I've never met Shirley Trevena nor Ross Paterson, but hoping to cross paths one of these days. I'll pass along the message!

Hey Nicholas - the Eiffel Tower was once the world's tallest man-made structure - don't know the relevance of this fact but I'm glad you are associated once again with French cultural events. I think you can still get a rain check for the Baron's chateau.

Anything *sur mer* sounds good to me!! I haven't been to Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer but i imagine it's probably yet another European idyllic and 'magnetic' place?! ..And, further exposure for your art in a major exhibition! Congrats, wayne

Bill - your post just reminded me of a great flick I need to watch again, "Paris Blues" with two of my faves, Sidney Poitier and Paul Newman. If you haven't seen that one, or it's been a long time, I suggest a fine-tuning. I would love to wander the Left Bank with you, but let's skip the absinthe!

Wayne - the photos of the place look pretty irresistible. Sadly, I've never been on the Riviera (except the Italian side), and it looks as though I'll have to wait longer. Actually the top of my travel itinerary is Oz, to see you and Dake and a few others. I'm going to make that happen, so keep the porch light on!
