Hi Nick,
great piece! I like the abstraction of the image and the way you exchange the negative and positive shapes back and forth in the picture plane. Maybe it's just me but it makes the image look like it is moving back and forth from foreground to back ground to middle ground and change from negative to positive. Very appealing regardless of the title, which is after all intriguing.

Agus - nice to hear from you, yes it had some serious energy to it, I should have stayed out of the way! Sorry I don't get around the blogs much anymore, but I'll be over to see what's going on in your part of the world.

Tonya - I then threw a "curtain" of transparent black paint across most of it which looked really cool, but then tried another process that put it into a tailspin. Well, no guts, no glory! I've ruined plenty of paintings I've put lots of work into by radical treatment..for me, a great way to learn and stumble across new techniques. I like paintings that look as though something dangerous or daring happened, and how else do you accomplish that w/o taking some risks?

Forward to your next try at this! To me this one looks great anyway. Like your reply to Tonya too.

Ah, bummer, hate to see something get destroyed. I had an oil drying one time leaning on a wall, big mistake as fluffy came by and decided to put some extra touches to it and then down it came after she flipped out with the oil on her paws lol. Nice to see some of your work again Nick.

David - should have stopped right there and signed it. Oh well, live and learn!

Randall - I've been here all along, but spending more time on FB, seems that's where all the artists went.

Jane - I agree, it was one of those that came alive because of all the white
