Kanuga Watercolor/Watermedia Workshops is run by Robbie Laird, in a gorgeous North Carolina mountain setting. This year it's happening April 11-16, and I'll be teaching there with eleven other recognized painters. I believe they will have something like 250 people attending - not your average workshop! I'm unsure of remaining spaces, but if you can't make mine I hope you'll consider signing up for one of the other artists. There are many activities on the schedule and it promises to be a wonderful event. Contact information is on the website.

Art Escapes Vancouver is a workshop organized by Jamie Kelley, and is taking place on incredible Granville Island, April 22-24. (see photos on the website) Vancouver was recently rated the best place to live -- anywhere! -- and I can believe it. I haven't been there since I was a kid and am very anxious to return. Also teaching there this year will be renowned watercolorists Joseph Zbukvic and Ted Nuttall. If you can't make my class, I hope you can make one of their's. Contact information on the website.
